Advisory Committees

The city has six citizen advisory committees which were created to obtain citizen input on a variety of issues facing the community. The committees also assist the City Council in their decision making process.  The City has an Economic Development Authority (EDA) which makes decisions on certain economic development issues.

Residents interested in serving on one of the city's six advisory committees or the EDA are encouraged to apply for positions as they become open. To apply, please complete a committee application or Economic Development Authority application or contact the city clerk's office at (952) 953-2506.
