Traffic signs and street (nameplate) signs on public streets are maintained by the city, while signs on or adjacent to county roads are maintained by the Dakota County Transportation Department. A city sign in need of repair or replacement can be reported to the Public Works Department at (952) 953-2400. To report an issue with a sign on a county road, please call the Dakota County Transportation Department at (952) 891-7900. Sign requests should be directed to the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee.
Traffic Signals
The city is responsible for maintaining the traffic signals located at the intersections listed below. Maintenance issues for these signals can be reported to the Public Works Department at (952) 953-2400. For after-hour emergencies, please call 9-1-1.
All other traffic signals are maintained by the Dakota County Transportation Department, (952) 891-7900.
